Hi everyone my name is Dallas Smith and Ive made this website to help you with your travels. My family owned a campground called Stone House Park in Illinois for 13 years of my childhood. When I turned 19 I decided I wanted to travel America. Fast forward 4 years later and Im still having a great time seeing new places.
I have lived in Illinois, Tennessee, California, Hawaii, Arizona, Florida, and plenty more to come. Doing all of this traveling has allowed me to meet people from all over the world. I also drove my 1989 Ford Probe on a 17,000 mile/ one month road trip that went from California up to Washington and back down and around most of the southern USA to the Keys in Florida and then back up to Illinois.
A few of my passions are traveling, photography, hiking, biking, kayaking, whitewater rafting, camping, and anything else that can get me outdoors! I am a certified Wilderness First Responder (WFR) through the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), I’m certified by the American Canoeing Association (ACA) as a level 2 Instructor in Sea Kayaking and I’m also certified by the American Red Cross in First Aid and Infant to Adult CPR.
One huge problem I have found since I started to travel is that people just don’t understand how easy it is to pick up and go! That is exactly why this site is here. I want you to be able to find as many resources as possible for your next journey and to be able to ask any questions that you have on your mind.
